Asian Blepharoplasty
Among Westerners, cosmetic eye surgery—or blepharoplasty—generally targets the removal of excess fat and skin that ages the appearance of the eye. Eye folds are not usually an issue.
In contrast, the Asian blepharoplasty focuses on the creation of folds or on the repositioning of an existing fold. Ablation is minimal and in some cases, unnecessary.
